Job summary

Newman Properties Inc. is seeking a Logistics & Purchasing Coordinator to manage inbound/outbound materials, maintain inventory accuracy, and coordinate shipments for production and installation operations. This role ensures on-time deliveries, materials availability, and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in shipping/receiving, purchasing, or warehouse operations.
• Comfortable with ERP or inventory software; able to learn SquareCoil quickly (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail with PO matching, inventory counts, and freight documentation.
• Solid written and verbal communication for vendor and internal coordination.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate a forklift/pallet jack.
• Valid driver’s license and be able to pass a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Unload and organize incoming materials, hardware, and sign components.
• Prepare and package finished signs and materials for shipment or delivery.
• Coordinate freight pickups, local deliveries, and carrier scheduling.
• Maintain shipping records, packing slips, bills of lading, tracking information, and permits.
• Ensure all outgoing products are packaged securely and professionally.
• Assist with loading installation vehicles and coordinating with project managers to align delivery with install schedule.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse and shipping areas.
