Job summary

Allied Personnel Services is seeking a Materials Coordinator for a full-time, temp-to-hire role on 1st shift. You will receive materials, manage ERP transactions, coordinate with suppliers, and support production scheduling in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has shipping/warehouse logistics experience, ERP proficiency, and strong inventory control skills. Forklift experience is preferred, with understanding of freight billing considered a plus. Compensation is $24–$30 per hour, DOE.

Qualifications

• Background in shipping, warehouse operations, materials coordination and logistics in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience using an ERP is a must.
• Experience with inventory control practices.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Understanding of freight billing is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, accuracy and quality.
• Prepare purchase orders, get quotes, and follow up with suppliers on status and delivery dates.
• Record receipts and inventory transactions in ERP.
• Work with production teams to stage material and keep the build schedule moving.
• Monitor inventory levels and flag shortages or discrepancies before they become a problem.
• Run cycle counts and other inventory control activities.
• Maintain supplier documentation and records for compliance and audits.
