Avancez Assembly in Arlington, TX is seeking a Materials Supervisor to oversee production material flow, inventory control, and procurement processes. You will implement floor and office systems in support of launches and ongoing operations, while ensuring material availability for a smooth production plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of advanced schooling and/or work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Business, Materials Management or Supply Chain Mgmt/Logistics.
• Proficiency with ERP and Kanban Systems and MS Excel.
• Ability to plan and analyze production requirements and implement supporting material systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support shipping/receiving team.
• Develop and maintain material and inventory control systems.
• Manage accurate inventory records in QAD system.
• Optimize inventory to support production and launches.
• Coordinate and monitor tooling shipments to assembly plants.
• Maintain safe and organized storage and 5S practices.
• Assist in continuous improvement of plant layout and processes.
