Avancez Assembly in Lansing, Michigan is seeking a Materials Supervisor to oversee production and procurement of raw materials, ensuring optimal levels and a smooth production plan. You will support floor and office systems implementation and coordinate with local teams for new launches.

The role requires managing shipping/receiving, maintaining inventory records in QAD, and driving continuous improvements in plant layout and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in business, materials management or supply chain logistics.
• Knowledge of ERP and Kanban systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping/receiving team and operations.
• Develop and maintain material/inventory control systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in QAD system.
• Manage inventory to optimize consumption and minimize obsolescence.
• Coordinate material returns and tooling shipments.
