Job summary

Avancez Assembly is seeking a Material Coordinator to coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments according to production and shipping schedules. You will review production schedules, confer with leadership, determine material requirements, and track material status.

The role requires 3+ years in materials management or supply chain, high organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Excel.

Qualifications

High School diploma required.
3+ years of experience in Business, Materials Management or Supply Chain Mgt/Logistics.

Responsibilities

Monitor/manage inventory levels utilizing ERP System with 5 Alarm system and Min/Max alerts to prevent production interruptions.
Communicate with customers regarding material issues.
Support receiving and production activities to ensure on-time delivery.
Analyze material variances and identify root causes; implement corrective actions with Cycle Counting support.
Perform inventory counts and related tasks as requested by the customer.
Identify areas for continuous improvement within the plant with cross-functional teams.
Coordinate Hot Shots and monitor OSR.
Follow plant safety protocols and assist with adherence.
