Job summary

Prime Controls in Boise, ID is seeking a Material Coordinator to manage panel inventory, coordinate flow, and ensure timely material availability for production. You will work with Master Scheduler, Warehouse, Production, and suppliers to optimize material handling, labeling, and cycle counts while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, supply chain, logistics, or related fields.
• Proficiency in ERP or inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic knowledge of safety and quality regulations in material handling.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Set up and manage the Point of Use bin system for Production while coordinating changes with key vendors.
• Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials.
• Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and restocking of bins; resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of material transactions and update inventory systems.
• Communicate material requirements with production teams and vendors.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials to meet safety and quality standards.
• Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock accuracy.
• Identify and implement process improvements for material flow efficiency.
• Collaborate with logistics and shipping teams to ensure timely dispatch of goods.
• Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements related to material management.
