Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a Materials Supervisor to oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of materials on the production floor. The role ensures accurate inventory and timely material flow while enforcing safety and quality standards.

The incumbent will supervise warehouse personnel, perform cycle counts, coordinate shipping preparations, and maintain ERP-backed inventory accuracy. This is a hands-on leadership position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Experience supervising employees in warehouse/inventory roles is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ERP familiarity are required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect and verify incoming material against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Store materials in designated locations using material-handling equipment.
• Pull materials for jobs and issue items to production as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory by comparing physical counts with ERP data.
• Transport materials safely to the production line and staging areas.
• Follow safety protocols and lifting procedures; ensure workspace is clean and organized.
• Assist with monthly cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
• Prepare materials for shipping, including scheduling and crating.
• Lead and train shipping, receiving and materials staff; monitor attendance and performance.
• Report issues to management and participate in process improvements.
