Job summary

Leidos LLC is seeking a Materials Controller based out of Huntsville, Alabama, to manage material receipt, stockroom organization, and shipping/receiving duties. The role requires safe equipment operation, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Costpoint and Office software.

You will assemble kits, reconcile inventory, and coordinate with carriers to ensure accurate, timely deliveries. This is an on-site position with opportunities to support mission-critical logistics for diverse

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• High School Diploma with 1–5 years related experience, including inventory and shipping/receiving.
• Experience in online database entry, update, and lookup.
• Proficient with Costpoint and Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely to support logistics.
• Receive materials and process goods receipts for traceability and compliance.
• Maintain an organized, safe stockroom environment.
• Prepare documentation and labels for packaging and shipments via UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers.
• Assemble kits from Costpoint generated pick lists; handle PCB assemblies, cables, and instruments.
• Support inventory reconciliation and timely delivery of packages.
• Provide logistics support as needed to the team.
