Job summary

Leidos LLC in Huntsville, AL is seeking an inventory management specialist to support production by tracking materials, moving kits, and ensuring timely deliveries. You will document movements in quality and accounting systems and escalate shortages to keep builds on schedule.

The role requires 2–4 years in inventory management, familiarity with Deltek Costpoint, BOM, and MES, and the ability to work in a team as well as independently. A Final Secret Clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2–4 years in inventory/materials management.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint and BOM/Costpoint Manufacturing Orders.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with lab managers and technicians supporting production efforts while maintaining delivery schedules and due dates.
• Move materials in and out of labs to support production builds.
• Escalate kit shortages or problems needed to complete builds.
• Package completed cable assemblies.
• Document material movements in quality and accounting systems.
• Utilize staging area for kits according to scheduling needs.
• Collaborate with multiple functions, project teams, and production teams.
