Job summary

Leidos’ Defense Systems in Huntsville, Alabama, seeks a Material Control Analyst to join our Platform Integration team. The role centers on efficient material and inventory management for defense projects.

Responsibilities include processing incoming hardware and raw materials, labeling receipts, and performing DELTEK Costpoint inventory tasks; coordinating with Production Control; and moving items with a forklift.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED with 1+ year relevant experience.
  • Experience working in the Manufacturing industry or relevant Inventory experience.
  • Candidate must be able to routinely lift objects up to 35-45 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Leidos’ Defense Systems is seeking a Material Control Analyst to join our Platform Integration team in Huntsville, Alabama. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the efficient management of materials and logistics within the defense sector. We work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, focusing on optimizing inventory control and supply chain processes to support our mission of delivering high-quality defense solutions. Your contributions will play a key role in the success of our department, which is committed to innovation and excellence in material management.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Process incoming hardware and raw material for Inventory.
  • Create labeling to identify material receipts.

  • The preferred candidate will have 2 years of applicable working experience working in the Manufacturing industry or relevant Inventory experience.
  • Experience using DELTEK Costpoint, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft office Suite (Word, Excel, and Microsoft outlook).

Pay Range:

Pay Range $35,750.00 - $64,625.00
