Job summary

Peterson Farms Inc is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist II to manage daily inventory counts, audits, and data entry in GP. The role involves resolving discrepancies, coordinating inbound/outbound shipments, and maintaining records to support production schedules in Ellington, CT.

The position requires an associate degree preferred and at least two years of related experience, with strong Excel and ERP system skills. This is a full-time, on-site role offering competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree preferred in a related field.
• Minimum two years related experience or training.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute daily inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate shortages, damages, rejections, and discrepancies; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Review production records for accuracy and assist team in investigations and improvement opportunities.
• Process inventory Adjustments in Parity and Microsoft Dynamics GP (GP).
• Receive, verify, and process inbound shipments in GP; coordinate outbound shipments as needed.
• Maintain organized electronic records for receiving and inventory documentation.
