Job summary

Peterson Farms Inc. in DeLand, FL is seeking a Materials Coordinator Inventory Control Specialist II to maintain inventories of raw and packaging materials and ensure on-time order fulfillment.

You will perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and support warehouse operations within the ERP ecosystem. The role requires strong data entry, attention to detail, and effective communication with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum two years related experience.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventories of raw materials and packaging materials to meet production needs.
• Perform daily inventory counts, cycle counts, and physical inventories for accuracy.
• Investigate shortages, damage, rejections, and discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Review production records for accuracy and assist team in investigations and improvements.
• Receive, verify, and process inbound shipments in GP; coordinate outbound shipments as needed.
• Maintain electronic records and filing systems for all receiving and inventory documents.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and warehouse operations.
