Job summary

Peterson Farms Inc is seeking a Materials Coordinator Inventory Control Specialist to oversee raw materials and packaging stock at Howey-in-the-Hills, FL. You will conduct daily inventory counts, reconcile variances, and ensure accurate records in GP or similar ERP.

You will collaborate with production, handle inbound/outbound shipments, and maintain documentation while upholding GMP and safety standards. A two-year degree is preferred and experience in inventory control is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Two years related experience and/or training required.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute daily inventory counts, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.
• Investigate inventory shortages, damages, rejections, and discrepancies; identify root causes and implement corrective actions to minimize variances.
• Review production records for accuracy and assist team in investigation; provide training if opportunities for improvement are identified.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies and process appropriate inventory adjustments within Parity and Microsoft Dynamics GP (GP).
• Receive, verify, and process all inbound shipments accurately in GP.
• Coordinate and process outbound raw material shipments as required to support operational needs.
• Maintain organized electronic records and filing systems for all receiving and inventory documentation.
• Manage cycle counts, receiving transactions, and material usage reporting for non-Parity inventory items.
• Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and warehouse operations.
