Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Service Technician I to perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance on material handling equipment, automated systems, and conveyors across customer sites. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, follow OEM specs, and create efficient work orders.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 0–2 years of mechanic experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or tech school graduation required.
• 0–2 years of mechanic experience with material handling equipment and conveyors preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems on multiple equipment types.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and supply own hand tools; safely operate lifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on MHE, automated systems, and conveyors.
• Schedule Planned Maintenance and maintain PM records.
• Create work orders and troubleshoot using manuals and diagrams.
• Maintain parts inventory and communicate with Parts team.
• Ensure safety equipment tests meet OSHA standards; uphold 5S principles.
