Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Service Technician I to perform maintenance on material handling equipment and automated systems at our fleet services site. You will schedule preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and keep detailed maintenance records.

The role requires safe lifting, tool use, and coordination with parts and customers. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and up to two years of mechanic experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years mechanic experience encouraged.
• Able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and safely operate lift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on MHE, batteries, automated systems and conveyors.
• Schedule PMs and maintain PM records in the system.
• Create and process work orders in the maintenance system.
• Troubleshoot engines, fuel systems, transmissions, automated systems and conveyors using manuals.
• Maintain parts inventory and service documentation.
• Test safety equipment to meet OSHA standards.
• Support site KPI targets and interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
