Job summary

Kenco Fleet Services is seeking a Service Technician II to perform general maintenance and repairs on Material Handling Equipment, automated systems, and conveyors across customer sites. You will troubleshoot and service a range of equipment, ensuring safety and operational standards are met.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–4 years of mechanic experience, and preferred ASE or electrical journeyman certifications. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or tech school graduate required.
• 2-4 years of mechanic experience with material handling equipment or similar.
• ASE Certification preferred; Electrical journeyman certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain material handling equipment, automated systems, and conveyors per site standards.
• Schedule and document Planned Maintenance (PM) for fleet equipment and conveyors.
• Inspect forklifts and conveyors to ensure OSHA compliance and operational standards.
• Troubleshoot engines, fuel systems, transmissions, and automated components using manuals and diagrams.
• Communicate with onsite personnel about abuse damages with detailed problem descriptions.
• Coordinate with Parts Manager on parts and supplies to maintain equipment.
• Maintain accurate repair records and inventories; complete paperwork diligently.
• Test safety equipment to ensure OSHA compliance and safe operation.
• Interact professionally with customers and coworkers; maintain clean service areas.
