Job summary

Kenco Logistics seeks a Service Technician I to perform maintenance on material handling equipment and automated systems at customer sites. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, record keeping, and coordination with parts and service teams.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of mechanic experience, the ability to read electrical/hydraulic schematics, and a self-driven, team-oriented mindset. Travel ~25% and a safety-focused work environment are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, G.E.D. or tech school graduate required.
• 0–2 years of mechanic experience with material handling equipment, automated systems, or conveyors.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on MHE, batteries, automated systems and conveyors.
• Schedules planned maintenance and keeps PM records up to date.
• Creates and processes work orders in the maintenance system.
• Troubleshoots engines, fuel systems, transmissions and conveyors per OEM specs.
• Maintains safety, quality records and 5S workplace organization.
