Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Service Technician I to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on material handling equipment, automated systems, and conveyors. You will schedule PMs, document work orders, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with comprehensive OEM guidelines.

The role requires the ability to read schematics, use manuals and diagrams, and lift up to 50 lbs. Travel up to 25% is possible, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or tech school graduate.
• Experience as a mechanic (0–2 years) preferred, especially with material handling equipment and conveyors.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on MHE, batteries, automated systems and conveyors.
• Schedule and record planned maintenance (PM) for fleet services equipment and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot engines, fuel systems, transmissions and conveyors using manuals/diagrams.
• Maintain accurate service, repair and inventory records; create/update work orders.
