Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Service Technician I to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on material handling equipment and conveyors at our Fleet Services locations. You will troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, review OEM guidelines, and ensure accurate PM records while collaborating with the Parts team.

The role requires 0–2 years of mechanic experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and valid capability to operate lift trucks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; tech school preferred.
• 0–2 years mechanic experience with MHE, automated systems, conveyors or similar equipment.
• Able to read electrical/hydraulic schematics and manuals.
• Self-motivated, team player, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on MHE, batteries, automations, and conveyors per OEM specs.
• Schedule and document Planned Maintenance (PM) in maintenance system.
• Create and process work orders accurately using the maintenance system.
• Troubleshoot engines, fuel systems, transmissions, and conveyors using manuals and diagrams.
• Maintain parts inventory and communicate parts needs to the Parts team.
