Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a warehouse associate in Kings Mountain, NC to support daily operations. The role involves obtaining pallet jacks and pallets, transferring cartons from belts to pallets, and preparing pallets for staging.

You will cut packing materials, secure pallets with wrap, and maintain a clean work area while following safety procedures. Training and safety orientation are provided.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.
• Must be able to learn to use the equipment required to complete task.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended period of time.
• Must be able to perform all functions of the job safely.
• Must complete company new hire and safety orientation.

Responsibilities

• Obtain pallet jack and wooden pallet.
• Monitor the special order handling belt for cartons.
• Remove cartons from the belt and place on wooden pallets by customer.
• Cut tape and breakdown boxes as needed; Stack on pallet; wear approved cutting gloves.
• Secure full pallets with plastic wrap.
• Move secured pallet to designated staging area and obtain another empty pallet.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in work area during and at the end of shift.
• Perform any additional duties as specified by supervisor.
