Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations in Davis-Besse, Ohio, seeks a Material Handler to receive, store, relocate and convey materials per established procedures. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, inspect shipments, and maintain precise inventory records to support plant operations.

Qualifications

• Receive, identify, label, issue and store materials as described in procedures.
• Operate material-handling equipment safely to transport and store items.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipping and receiving activities.

Responsibilities

• Open containers, remove strapping and secure loads for transport.
• Inspect incoming shipments and verify items against orders.
• Prepare bills of lading and related shipping documents.
• Train and guide lower classifications and collaborate with teammates.
