Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company seeks a Warehouse Operator at the Davis-Besse site in Ohio. The role involves receiving, storing, issuing and relocating materials, tools, and equipment in accordance with company procedures while maintaining accurate inventory records.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, inspect shipments, prepare shipping documents, assemble storage racks, train junior staff, and ensure clean, safe working conditions. Collaboration with colleagues is essential.

Qualifications

• Receive, identify, label, issue, store, retrieve, load, unload, move and relocate materials and equipment following procedures.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify against orders.
• Prepare bills of lading and related shipping/receiving documents.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and control stock locations.

Responsibilities

• Receive, label, issue, store, retrieve, load, unload, move and relocate materials and equipment.
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts and other lifting devices safely.
• Open containers, remove strapping, secure loads, and record quantities and locations.
• Inspect shipments, verify items against POs and label materials accordingly.
• Conduct physical inventories and report results.
• Prepare shipping/receiving docs and manage racks or storage equipment.
• Train and guide employees in lower classifications.
• Keep records and maintain clean, organized work areas.
