Job summary

Talen Energy is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in Ohio to load and unload trucks, move materials with forklifts, and maintain inventories at the site warehouse. You will handle supplies, ensure accurate records, and prepare shipments and returns with attention to safety and efficiency.

You will perform routine clerical tasks, follow plant procedures for storage, and coordinate with site personnel to maintain orderly and safe work areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and forklift training/certifications required or obtainable.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks and moves materials, tools, equipment and supplies using forklifts.
• Receives, unpacks, inspects, identifies and stores materials, tools and equipment, and maintains records.
• Prepares inventories, shipments and documents; forwards samples to laboratory when needed.
