To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements.
Applicants must have had sufficient training and experience to demonstrate their ability to perform the duties of the position.
Qualifications will be assessed by comparing your application responses to the Applicant Assessment Questions against the guidelines in the Job Qualification System for Trades and Labor Occupations, WS-6907 series.
To qualify, you MUST meet the Barely Acceptable level on both screen-out elements (Ability to supervise and Aptitude for work with prisoners); receive at least half of the total possible points; and provide detailed information on your resume to support your responses, demonstrating that you possess the experience and skills to perform the duties at the journeyman level. Failure to clearly identify skills equivalent to a journeyman may result in a lower score or ineligibility.
