Job summary

Wabash Cadiz, KY is seeking a Material Handler to move and manage parts and materials on the production floor. You will receive training to operate forklifts and other equipment and may assist in multiple departments as needed.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and on-time delivery, with PPE provided and a focus on keeping lines stocked, reporting defects, and supporting production continuity. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass drug and safety training,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to pass PIV (power industrial vehicle) training.
• Basic reading, writing, math, and verbal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Owning and helping improve our performance in Safety, Quality, and Delivery
• Maintaining and reporting daily receiving and shipping activities
• Reporting defects and needs for repairs
• Keeping lines stocked with the proper materials
• Performing additional work as assigned by the supervisor or coordinator
• Wearing approved personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Completing assigned duties in safety and policy compliance
