Job summary

Wabash is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Driver to join our production support team. The role involves operating forklifts, tuggers, tractors, hoists, and cranes, plus receiving, storing, and shipping parts, materials, tools, and supplies.

You will follow safety policies, report defects, and keep materials stocked while supporting multiple departments as needed. Training is provided; pre-employment drug screening and PIV training are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to pass PIV (power industrial vehicle) training.
• Basic reading/writing/math and verbal skills required.
• Basic computer knowledge expected.

Responsibilities

• Own and help improve safety, quality, and delivery performance.
• Keep materials organized and report receiving/shipping activities.
• Operate Forklifts and other equipment as needed.
• Report defects and need for repairs.
• Keep lines stocked with proper materials.
• Flexible to work in other departments as assigned.
• Wear required PPE and follow safety policies.
