Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking associates for distribution center material handling duties in Alabama. You will process inbound/outbound shipments, verify documentation, and manage inventory with RF scanners and WMS tools.

Emphasis on safety, accuracy, and productivity in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will adapt to warehouse systems, learn voice-picking equipment, and support acquisitions, returns, and replenishment activities while upholding O’Reilly policy and quality

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follows established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain safe work environment, including lifting and handling merchandise.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems, RF technology, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping documentation.
• Process inbound/outbound shipments and vendor returns per policy.
• Operate RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking devices.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through scans and tagging.
• Rebox, relabel, sort, and prepare merchandise for shipment or inventory placement.
• Follow hazardous material handling and safety requirements.
