Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Distribution Center associate to perform material handling duties across inbound, outbound, returns, and acquisitions operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, productivity, and safety. You will operate RF scanners, voice-picking devices, and warehouse management systems, and you will load, unload, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise with care.

Qualifications

Ability to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
Follows established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
Maintain safe work environment, including but not limited to safely lifting, moving, and handling merchandise.
Willingness to learn warehouse systems, RF technology, and operational processes.
Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Prior experience handling automotive parts or related merchandise.
Experience operating warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, or voice-picking equipment.
Experience working within productivity, quality, or performance-driven environments.
Proficiency in one or more additional languages.

Responsibilities

Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately and efficiently.
Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping documentation with physical merchandise.
Operate RF scanners, handheld devices, voice-picking systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and other warehouse technology as required.
Maintain inventory accuracy through proper scanning, labeling, auditing, staging, and discrepancy resolution procedures.
Follow established safety standards and report unsafe conditions to leadership.
Maintain organized, clean work areas and support compliance with policies.
