Job summary

Generac is seeking a Materials Supervisor to oversee the full material flow from receiving through line-side presentation for production, including end-of-line pick, pack and ship, and intra-plant deliveries.

You will drive improvements in inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and on-time reporting while managing warehousing operations and staff development to meet KPIs and production needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of materials leadership.
• 2 years of experience leading teams, developing people or organizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely material flow within the facility and timely delivery in receiving from other locations and preparation for shipment of parts to other facilities.
• Develop and implement standard processes and strategies that enable production efficiency improvements.
• Lead, supervise, and direct materials staff development through education, training, coaching, mentoring and certification in the execution of improvement priorities and KPIs.
• Manage and optimize daily warehousing operations including staging, cycle count, and storage of materials.
