Job summary

Kimberly-Clark Beech Island Mill is seeking a Materials Manager to lead a ~500-person team, owning on-site materials flow and Beech Island campus operations. You’ll drive strategic initiatives, ensure accurate delivery to the production line, and partner with third-party logistics to optimize inventory and processes in a safety-first environment.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a track record of improving material flow and supply chain performance at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of logistics experience, including tactical and strategic roles.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree required.
• Leadership experience, either formally or through influence.
• Proficient in analyzing, developing strategies, and executing plans effectively.

Responsibilities

• Thought leader for all material movements and information flows to meet safety, quality, and control standards.
• Manage flow of materials through the mill’s campus and overflow locations to support production.
• Build a high-performing team, define standard processes, and remove barriers to improve logistics.
• Collaborate with supply chain workstreams to continuously improve methods and execution.
• Maintain data integrity to deliver accurate financials across production reporting, inventory, and WMS/SAP.
