Job summary

Kimberly-Clark Beech Island Mill seeks a Senior Environmental & Sustai nability Engineer to lead site E&S programs, drive ISO 14001 alignment, and advance Sustainability 2030 goals. You will oversee regulatory compliance, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to reduce emissions, waste, and water use while ensuring safe operations.

Reporting to the Segment E&S Operations Leader, you will mentor staff, manage risk, and partner with global teams to share best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, pulp & paper engineering, chemistry, environmental science, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of E&S experience in air permitting, chemical management, SPCC, and SWPPP programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated management and leadership experience with strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the site is compliant with Kimberly-Clark and regulatory controls related to environmental matters.
• Take ownership of the relevant environmental and sustainability components within the site’s E&S Management System.
• Define the environmental and sustainability risk reduction strategy for the site and lead implementation to improve performance.
• Lead the facility's effort to elevate the E&S operating model to align with ISO 14001:2026 release and improve effectiveness.
• Collaborate with segment and global teams to ensure consistent application of E&S standards and best practices.
