Job summary

Kimberly-Clark Beech Island Mill seeks a Materials Manager responsible for the $31 million inventory of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finishing supplies. You will oversee on-site and overflow material flows, ensuring timely delivery to the production line and driving continuous process improvements.

You will lead a 500‑person team, partner with our 3PL Logistics team, and set the vision for efficient material movements while upholding safety and quality standards every day.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of logistics experience, including both tactical and strategic roles.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree
• Leadership experience, either formally or through influence
• Proficient in analyzing, developing strategies, and executing plans effectively.

Responsibilities

• Thought leader for all material movements and information flows to ensure safety, quality, internal control, and business systems.
• Manage the flow of materials through the mill’s campus, building a high-performing team and clear processes to meet forecasted demand.
• Collaborate with workstreams up and down the supply chain and provide feedback to improve methods and execution.
• Maintain data integrity to deliver accurate financials through production reporting, inventory, planning, receiving/issuing/shipping, and SAP/WMS processes.
