Job summary

Kimberly-Clark Corporation is seeking a Lead Engineer - Mechanical to support daily case handling, improve reliability, and drive capital projects for Safety, Quality, OEE, and cost in our Beech Island facility. You will lead engineering initiatives across manufacturing assets and guide a team through complex problems.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, 2+ years of experience, and the ability to travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2+ years or more of working experience.
Direct the maintenance and operations team through influence and problem solving.
Ability and flexibility to work in a manufacturing environment with a 24/7 operation.
Ability to travel up to 15% for meetings, install/start-up support, benchmarking, or best practice sharing.

Responsibilities

Support daily case handling performance, improve reliability, and execute capital projects to improve Safety, Quality, OEE, & Cost of the Logistics System.
Provide functional leadership and creativity in design, development, and optimization of manufacturing equipment to meet unit objectives.
Lead product or process improvement projects with a financial scope of up to $10 million from conception through commercialization.
Identify and solve complex technical issues and lead group problem solving sessions.
Develop knowledge and skills in leadership of engineering principles, analysis, problem-solving, and project management.
