Job summary

Voltava is seeking a Materials Supervisor for the 3rd shift to lead material flow, inventory control, and shipping/receiving to ensure materials are available for production. You will work with production, purchasing, tooling, suppliers, and logistics to resolve issues and maintain schedules.

The role requires experience in manufacturing materials, ERP/MRP systems, and a focus on continuous improvement, 5S, and safety. This position emphasizes collaboration and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Experience in materials, inventory, logistics, shipping/receiving, or production control in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP, Kanban, Min/Max, or other material management systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead shipping, receiving, and material handling to support safe, efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material transactions in ERP/MRP systems.
• Monitor Min/Max, Kanban, and MRP to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Optimize inventory and reduce excess, obsolete, and end-of-life materials.
• Coordinate receiving, material returns, tooling shipments, and resolution of discrepancies.
• Support new product launches through material planning and plant readiness.
