Job summary

Voltava is seeking a Materials Supervisor for the 3rd shift to lead material flow, inventory control, and shipping/receiving to ensure materials are available for production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize disruptions and support new product launches through planning and system implementation.

The role emphasizes improving material flow, plant organization, and 5S, while maintaining a safe, customer-focused work environment. 3rd shift experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of schooling and experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Experience with ERP/MRP, Kanban, Min/Max, or similar material-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead shipping, receiving, and material handling to support safe, efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material transactions using QAD and other ERP/MRP systems.
• Monitor Min/Max, Kanban, and MRP to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Optimize inventory levels by reducing excess, obsolete, and end-of-life materials.
• Coordinate receiving, returns, tooling shipments, and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, purchasing, tooling, and production to maintain schedules.
• Support new product launches via material planning, plant readiness, layouts, and system implementation.
• Drive improvements in material flow, 5S, and overall efficiency.
• Identify risks and opportunities and implement practical solutions.
