Job summary

Gradian Thermal Solutions is seeking a Material Coordinator to support material readiness across manufacturing projects. You will track material availability, location, quantities, and project assignment to prevent schedule disruptions and keep production flowing.

The role requires organizing material storage, cycle counting, and collaboration with Purchasing, Planning, Logistics, and Production to resolve shortages and optimize material flow on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, materials, warehouse, logistics, inventory control, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities with strong follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track material requirements across multiple active manufacturing projects.
• Maintain visibility of material availability, location, quantity, and project association.
• Perform physical counts and validate against production requirements.
• Ensure material is labeled, organized, and properly stored.
• Coordinate material staging based on production schedules and priorities.
• Identify shortages and material risks before they impact production.
• Maintain shortage lists and drive resolution with Purchasing and Planning.
• Support cycle counting and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Assist with material disposition and storage of excess project material.
• Escalate risks and help develop improved material processes.
