Qualifications

• Enrollment in BS program with major in Material Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related degree with controls/systems/analytics emphasis
• Sophomore status (minimum) with 48 completed credits
• Availability to work full-time (40+ hours/week) May–Dec 2027
• Ability to enroll in a formalized co-op program through university
• Dependable, self-motivated and engaged learner
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally

Responsibilities

• Test chemical properties of alloys used in production for casting processes
• Analyze chemical properties for aluminum and tool steel
• Collaborate with operations leaders, supervisors, technicians, and production operators
• Develop and edit operating procedures
