Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions in Dayton, MN is seeking a Materials Coordinator to help ensure materials are available, tracked, and ready to support production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This full-time, direct-hire role offers weekly pay and benefits. You will monitor inventory, coordinate material movement, assist with receiving and shipping, and collaborate with Production to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory, materials, warehouse, or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with production and operations teams.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with inventory tracking systems preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to Dayton, MN.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory visibility and material tracking throughout the facility.
• Monitor material locations, quantities, and staging status.
• Coordinate material movement to support production schedules.
• Identify and communicate material shortages that could impact operations.
• Collaborate with Production and other departments to ensure materials are ready when needed.
• Assist with inventory audits and inventory control processes.
• Support receiving, staging, and shipping activities as needed.
