Responsibilities

  • Coordinate movements of materials to meet construction schedules.
  • Compute material quantities for job orders.
  • Maintain manual or computerized records of inventory, WIP, and material locations.
  • Arrange for repair and assembly of material or part.
  • Determine best delivery method for job orders and coordinate deliveries.
  • Coordinate shortages and discuss prioritization with Project Managers.
  • Expedite post-construction shortages and fill as needed.
  • Identify causes of shortages and generate Material Requests.
