Job summary

Texas-New Mexico Power (TNMP) is seeking a Material Coordinator in Pecos, TX to coordinate and expedite movement of scheduled and unplanned materials, parts, and assemblies between sections. The role reports to the WTX Pecos Operations department and offers a pay rate of $43.27 per hour.

Under direct supervision, you will review work schedules, arrange transfers, compute material requirements, and maintain records to ensure timely delivery and inventory control.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED with five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews construction work schedules and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements and satisfy end user material acceptance instructions.
• Arranges divisional transfer of materials to meet construction schedules.
• Computes amount of material required to complete job orders.
• Compiles and maintains records such as material inventory, work-in-progress reports, and status and location of materials.
• Determines best delivery method for job orders and coordinates and schedules deliveries accordingly.
