Job summary

RiseMe in Ohio seeks a Materials/Inventory Leader to identify and track critical inventory metrics, supervise the materials department, and lead multi-location operations. You will drive cost reductions, improve delivery performance, and align purchasing with production needs.

The role requires a BS in a technical field or 5+ years in supply chain leadership, with ISO 9000 experience and Six Sigma belt considered a plus; strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree in technical field or 5+ years related experience.
• Leadership experience in materials/supply chain.
• Strong cost-reduction track record.
• Capability to staff Materials organization with strong players.
• ISO 9000 quality system experience.
• Six Sigma belt certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, implement and track critical inventory metrics.
• Investigates and solves root cause analysis from cycle counting.
• Lead continuous improvement for materials, suppliers, and processes.
• Oversee receiving and materials department operations.
• Manage inventory levels and accuracy across locations.
• Develop annual business and tactical plans for the department.
• Interview, train and evaluate department staff.
• Support auditors and quality initiatives.
• Coordinate logistics and make/buy strategy.
• Drive on-time delivery and cost-competitive performance.
