The role ensures materials are available to support production while maintaining inventory accuracy, controlling costs, and boosting supply-chain performance.

Lead and coach materials and warehouse teams; drive continuous-improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, with strong ERP/MRP discipline and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• 3–7+ years of experience in materials management, supply chain, inventory control, purchasing, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily materials, inventory, warehouse, and material-flow activities.
• Ensure raw materials and components are available to meet production requirements.
• Coordinate material requirements with production schedules and forecasts.
• Monitor inventory levels, shortages, excess inventory, and obsolete materials.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and physical inventory activities.
• Work with suppliers to address delivery, quality, and material availability issues.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material information within ERP/MRP systems.
• Develop and improve inventory-control processes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce material costs, waste, shortages, and excess inventory.
• Track key materials-management performance indicators.
• Lead continuous-improvement initiatives related to inventory, warehouse operations, and material flow.
• Supervise, coach, and develop materials and warehouse personnel.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety and company procedures.
