Qualifications

• Experience in procurement or supply chain within manufacturing.
• Leadership or supervisory experience, including leading Buyer/Planner teams.
• Experience driving supplier accountability for on-time delivery and quality targets (OTD/PPM).
• Experience managing material shortages, past dues, and supply chain escalations.
• Experience coordinating with Manufacturing/Operations for production schedules and job releases.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Buyer/Planner activities to ensure timely procurement and on-time job starts.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing and Operations to support production schedules and job release.
• Monitor and drive supplier performance on delivery, quality, and responsiveness; implement corrective actions.
• Manage material shortages, past dues, and supply chain escalations.
• Monitor inventory levels and support inventory management objectives.
• Participate in supplier meetings and business reviews.
• Support supply chain productivity, continuous improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Maintain accurate planning parameters, PO status, and supplier communication.
