Job summary

You will handle receiving, loading/unloading, counting, weighing and recording information for orders from multiple sources and departments. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory, ensuring traceability, coordinating with QA and purchasing on returns, and updating movement of parts on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years in production/material control or shipping/receiving.
• Understanding of stock room and inventory control in a large environment.
• Proficient with office and inventory software; able to work extended hours as needed.
• Knowledge of SAP is highly desirable; forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt of incoming materials; verify against documents and PO.
• Monitor inventory levels and work orders; ensure material traceability.
• Coordinate with departments to meet material requirements and production needs.
• Conduct physical inventory counts and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Verify items against quality clauses and receiving procedures.
• Support safety and QA in handling hazardous materials and vendor returns.
