Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is seeking an Inventory Analyst to manage inventory levels, analyze material requirements, and support purchasing activities critical to aerospace production.

Under limited direction, you will review MRP requirements, approve requisitions, coordinate with engineering, production planning, and suppliers, and develop reporting to ensure on-time material readiness and compliance with AS9100.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; 3+ years in inventory planning and control
• Solid understanding of inventory planning and control standards, MRP concepts and systems
• Customer-focused with ability to analyze data and solve complex problems
• Strong organization and communication skills across levels and functions
• Ability to lead or advise while working independently or in a team
• Willingness to extended hours as required

Responsibilities

• Review and approve MRP requirements, requisitions, and stock transfers to meet production needs
• Analyze obsolete/excess inventory and adjust ABC codes and orders
• Coordinate with purchasing, production planning, warehouse, contracts, engineering and manufacturing to meet schedule and budget
• Develop inventory monitoring reports and collaborate with IT on data collection reports
• Develop and implement inventory control programs to meet project and production requirements
• Support audits and ensure traceability per aerospace AS9100 requirements
