Job summary

Raytheon, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Material Program Manager to own capital supply chain execution and supplier performance across programs. You will drive cost reduction, DTC/CRI activities, and ensure affordability targets from design to contract closure. This onsite role requires U.S.

citizenship and offers a comprehensive benefits package. The MPM will serve as the Supply Chain Lead for capital projects, coordinating with IPTs and external suppliers to meet PTW targets

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Project Management, or related work experience.
• Experience working with technical requirements and Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital supply chain activities and advise leadership on material strategies and plans.
• Develop clear Statements of Work for equipment, tooling, or manufacturing systems with milestones.
• Track capital budgets and material forecasting.
• Organize and track project deliverables, KPIs, and SDRL/CDRL.
• Coordinate and lead technical reviews (PDR, CDR, FAT, SAT).
• Support supplier selection, evaluations, and technical assessments.
• Develop and execute risk mitigation plans to meet objectives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations and Finance.
• Domestic travel up to 20%.
