Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking a Material Planner to coordinate material availability for production and order fulfillment at its Culver City, CA warehouse. The role supports cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, Production, Shipping, Quality and Sales, with a hybrid onsite schedule (3 days/week onsite).

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to work independently, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualificações

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 2+ years of planning, procurement, or logistics.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.
• All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure material availability aligns with demand and production schedules.
• Track shipments and follow up on delayed or at-risk deliveries with buyers, suppliers, and freight carriers.
• Monitor material requirements and inventory levels to minimize production disruptions and support On-Time Delivery (OTD).
• Collaborate with buyers to identify and communicate supply shortages and scheduling conflicts to internal teams, elevating issues when needed.
• Participate in team meetings to review priorities, risks, and action plans.
• Maintain planning reports, delivery schedules, and material status updates to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
• Utilize ERP/MRP and planning tools to make informed decisions on material availability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, purchasing, inventory management, and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.
