Job summary

Aptiv Interconnect is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Planner to ensure materials are available in the right quantities and timelines to meet production and customer requirements. You will support material planning, manufacturing, and purchasing across operations to enable smooth workflows and reliable delivery.

In this role, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally to optimize production and enhance delivery capabilities, while maintaining a single source of truth in the ERP system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; active progress toward APICS certification valued.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing, production planning, or supply chain ops preferred; ERP exposure an asset.
• Knowledge of BOMs, production scheduling, and inventory control; build-to-order familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan material requirements to ensure availability for seamless production flow and on-time delivery.
• Identify shortages early, resolve discrepancies, and protect the manufacturing schedule.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to monitor POs and reduce lead-time risks; escalate shortages as needed.
