Qualifikationen

• BS in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience (7–10 years).
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in material planning, supply-chain planning or building materials management.
• Experience with ERP; Oracle experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter and lean principles experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Develop a world class material planning discipline to support ERP initiatives.
• Work and communicate collaboratively with the other disciplines within the facility.
• Determine required materials and issue purchase orders.
• Resolve material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and identify root-causes for inventory variance.
• Operate and order within the supply contractual terms.
• Review vendor created backorders and develop corrective actions with suppliers.
• Monitor terms and performance standards on all vendor and supplier contracts.
• Implement and abide by corporate policies and procedures.
• Prepare reports and monitor inventory, material usage and efficiency.
• Create strategic solutions to improve material flow.
• Recommend product substitutions based on material shortages.
