Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Materials Coordinator to support purchasing, inventory control, and accounts payable in our manufacturing operations. You will work with the Materials Manager to ensure timely procurement and accurate BOM updates in our ERP system.

The role emphasizes cross-functional communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced home-building environment. Full-time hourly position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years’ prior relevant experience in materials, purchasing, warehouse, etc.
• Experience with Oracle ERP preferred.
• Exceptional math skills for problem solving and APU usage.
• Basic accounting knowledge: invoice payments and credits.

Responsibilities

• Assist in material purchasing: count, plan, and order items weekly; update IGPS pricing.
• Update Bill of Materials in ERP system.
• Develop and maintain purchasing reports and charts.
• Manage D&O, waste wire, and debit bill-back spreadsheets.
• Assist accounts payable: review invoices, coordinate with vendors, and support front desk.
